Curriculum

Benedictine is a college preparatory school offering honors and advanced placement courses.

Current course offerings are Advanced Placement English III, English I, Honors English I, English II,Honors English II,English III,English IV, and Advanced Placement English IV; Foreign Languages, including Chinese I, Chinese II, French II, Latin I, Latin II, Honors Latin III, Spanish I, Spanish II, Honors Spanish III and Honors Spanish IV; Mathematics courses, Algebra I,Honors Algebra I, Algebra II, Honors Algebra II, Geometry, Honors Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Honors Pre-Calculus, Advanced Placement Calculus, Finite Math, and SAT Math / English Review; and Computer Applications.

Science courses include Biology, Honors Biology, Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, Ecology & Oceanography, Physics, Honors Physics, and Physics II; Social Studies courses are American History, Advanced Placement American History, Economics and Government, Advanced Placement Economics and Government, World History, and Advanced Placement European History; Religion I-IV; Fine Arts and Media courses such as Chorus, Studio Art, Introduction to Film, and Journalism; Introduction to Mechanics as a general elective; and Physical Education/Health, Personal Fitness, Sports Medicine, Team Sports, Weight Training; and JROTC LET I-IV as well as JROTC Band.
