Financial Aid - Benedictine Military School - Savannah, GA

Financial Aid

Each year, BC awards a considerable amount of financial aid.  In addition to aid from Benedictine, the Catholic Diocese of Savannah offers two types of aid programs.  One program is for Catholic students and the other is for minority students without regard to religions affiliation.   Because BC and the Diocese use the FACTS Management application, only one financial aid application should be submitted.

To receive full consideration for all available funds, it is important to comply with the following procedures:

  • Send the completed FACTS financial aid form by March 15, 2010 to FACTS Management. FACTS offers an online application process at  www.factstuitionaid.com
  • Include a 2009 federal tax return, including W-2s, IRS Form 1040 and all supporting schedules with your application in order to receive consideration for financial aid. Self-employed businesses taxed as partnerships, corporations of sub-S corporations must also submit the most recent, completed tax return.
  • If parents responsible for the student’s education are divorced and file taxes separately, a separate sheet should be completed for the non-household parent.

All financial aid awards are based on financial need without regard to race, creed or national origin.  When calculating financial aid rewards, BC looks at disposable family income.  The school will deduct any Diocesan aid awarded from the amount BC awards.  Financial aid must be re-applied for annually.
