Admissions Process

Admissions Process

For admission into any grade level, an applicant must demonstrate the ability to successfully complete a college-preparatory curriculum as well as the ability to adhere to Benedictine Military School's code of conduct. To ensure that an applicant is suited for the Benedictine experience and a college-preparatory curriculum, the admissions committee will take the following guidelines into account:

  • Compatibility with the Benedictine Community and a sincere desire to be a Cadet
  • Admissions Test Results
  • Overall middle school transcript (including academic, behavioral, and attendance)
  • Recommendations from Math, Science, and English teachers, as well as the School Counselor

List of 2 items.

  • Freshmen Admissions

For admission into the ninth grade, an applicant must successfully complete the eighth grade and receive promotion to the ninth grade from an accredited school.
  • Transfer Admissions

Benedictine welcomes inquiries from qualified students interested in tranferring after freshmen year. The primary consideration for transfer admission is overall school enrollment, the prospective student's academic ability as measured by standardized test scores and the candidate's current high school academic record, both supporting a record of achievement in a college-preparatory high school curriculum.
