Letters of Recommendation

Benedictine requires four (4) letters of recommendation as part of the application process. We ask that letters come from teachers and counselors who can best relate the students potential success at BC. Letters should come from their English/Literature, Math, and Science teachers, as well as their school counselor. 
 
The Letter of Recommendation forms will be sent electronically to the people you invite to submit a letter. The recommendations all exist in our myBC Admissions portal, so only these electronic recommendations will be accepted. 

How to request a Letter of Recommendation:
1. Log into your myBC account
2. Click on your son's name
3. Click on Admissions Progress
4. Click START next to “English Teacher Recommendation”
5. Write the recommenders name and email address on the request page and click submit.
6. You're done!

Recommenders will receive an email link to the recommendation form and instructions on how to complete and submit the recommendation. This link is only valid for 30 days. In the event the teacher does not respond and says the link is not working, you will need to resubmit the request. To resend, click on the Checklist item and click "Resend".
