Benedictine's hiring cycle normally begins in January and concludes when available positions are filled.

  • Director of Alumni Engagement

    Job Title:                   DIRECTOR OF ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT
    Classification:          Staff
    Reports to:                Advancement Director
    Time schedule:         Full-time, salaried, 12 months, on-site                        
     
    DESCRIPTION
    We are seeking to hire a Benedictine Military School graduate who is passionate about the mission of BC, who is ready to join a team that is focused on serving others and is excited about engaging and connecting with the brotherhood of Benedictine alumni around the world.

    As a member of the Advancement team, the Director of Alumni Engagement will create and implement a strategic alumni relations program which increases involvement in Benedictine. Primary responsibilities include building a structure for enhancing involvement, giving, and leadership opportunities for alumni; serving as the moderator of the Alumni Association; coordinating alumni communications; organizing alumni events; and assisting with the annual fund. Some evening and weekend hours are required, along with occasional travel.
     
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Coordinate and support alumni events including Homecoming Weekend, Alumni Annual Dinner, Alumni Oyster Roast, class reunions, Survivor’s Club Luncheons, Senior Breakfast, Ring Day, Koszewski Dinner, Career Day, regional alumni events, and other social events.

    Develop a strategic and structured communication plan for alumni using the website, magazine, social media, emails, online alumni newsletter, cultivation, and invitations to events in collaboration with the Advancement Team.

    Manage the class agent program and AlumniFire, our online alumni community and facilitate alumni information and updates including marriages, births, divorces, and deaths.

    Assist the Director of Annual Giving with alumni participation in the Annual Fund.

    Serve as the Advisor for the Alumni Association
     
    QUALIFICATIONS
    A winning attitude and passion for Benedictine Military School

    Graduate of Benedictine Military School

    Bachelor’s degree required.

    1-2 years of experience in effectively coordinating programs or events in a professional setting; experience in fundraising is beneficial.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Raiser’s Edge or similar fundraising database experience preferred.
