1st Team
Cole Minnich, junior
Minnich finished third in the Class 4A state meet with a time of 16:12.09, the second-best mark among area runners. He ran a personal best time of 15:47.58 in the Ranchers Release the Hounds Invitational and had a pair of wins among his six top 3 finishes. He broke 16 minutes twice.
Will Hoffman, junior
Hoffman was a standout on a strong BC squad. He ran a time of 17:59.41 in the Class 4A state meet. He posted a PR of 17:42.15 in the Ranchers Release the Hounds Invitational.

Football
Coach of the Year - Danny Britt
Britt earned Savannah Morning News Coach of the Year honors for leading the talented Cadets to the finals for the fifth time in his 15 years leading the program. Benedictine played a rugged schedule that included a game against Buford, which closed out the year undefeated and ranked No. 1 in the nation. The Cadets won 11 games in a row under head coach Danny Britt after losing their first two to Colquitt County and Buford, as Benedictine advanced to the Class 4A state finals, where they were edged by Creekside 42-39. Creekside ended the season ranked No. 19 nationally by Maxpreps.com.
1st Team Offense
Stephen Cannon, Senior, Quarterback
Cannon was named the Region 1-4A Offensive Player of the Year and earned All-State honors from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He threw for 2,266 yards with 26 touchdowns and just four interceptions, and ran for 625 yards and nine more scores. Cannon has signed with Texas Tech.
Bubba Frazier, Senior, Wide Receiver
Frazier won the Finocchiaro Award as the top high school football player in Savannah and was named the Region 1-4A Player of the Year. The Notre Dame-signee had 45 catches for 665 yards and 10 touchdowns and ran for 284 yards and three scores. He also had 298 yards in kick and punt returns and picked off a pair of passes with 91 yards in interception returns. He had 16 total touchdowns and was an All-State selection by the AJC.
Carlton Hall, Senior, Offensive Line
Hall returned from a knee injury that cost him his junior season and anchored the offensive line for a Cadet squad that reached the Class 4A State Championship game. He was named the Region 1-4A Co-Offensive Player of the Year. He has signed to play at Liberty University.
Eron Mallard, Junior, Athlete
Mallard came on strong with a breakthrough season for the Cadets. He had 32 receptions for 657 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 20.5 yards per catch. He also ran for 396 yards and four scores, averaging 9.7 yards per carry. He added 371 yards in kick returns. He was a first-team All-Region 1-4A selection.
1st Team Defense
Kam Cody, Senior, Defensive Line
Cody was named the Region 1-4A Defensive Player of the Year. He had 82 tackles, with 13 for losses and 5.5 sacks. He was an AJC All-State first-team pick and has signed to play at Clemson. Cody has a remarkable back story after a heart incident nearly cost him his life during his freshman year.
LaDamion Guyton, Junior, edge
Guyton transferred to BC from Savannah Christian and was a game changer for the Cadets. He had 76 tackles with 15 for losses and seven sacks with 27 quarterback hurries. He was an All-State first-team pick by the AJC. Guyton saw some action on offense with 5 carries for 14 yards and even had a touchdown throw on a jump pass to Bennett Conaway in the state championship loss to Creekside. Guyton, one of the top junior recruits in the country, reclassified as a senior and signed with Texas Tech.
Jayden Houston, Senior, Linebacker
In his first year as a starter, Houston led the Cadets with 105 tackles, including 15 for losses, and had three sacks, with an interception, three passes defended and three fumble recoveries. He was an All-Region 1-4A first-team pick.
Micah Williams, Senior, Defensive Back
Williams had 48 tackles with six interceptions and four passes defended as the anchor of the Cadet defensive backfield. He was an All-Region pick and an AJC All-State first-team selection. Williams has signed to play at Appalachian State.
