JROTC Leaders Compete

Benedictine Military School Cadets completed JROTC leadership camp today at Hunter Army Airfield. BC sent nine Cadet participants, two advanced Cadets. Cadet Braydenn Hess was awarded the Honor Graduate distinction, which puts him in the top 10 percent of all camp attendees. During camp this week, LTC Stephen Suhr, BC's Senior Army Instructor, and his cadre (MSG Reinaldo Osorio, MSG Richard Smith, and SFC Leona Brooks) joined forces with other schools' cadre to provide instruction at the annual leadership camp. BC Cadets worked with students from other schools throughout the area to learn skills like First-Aid, rope-bridge navigation and tower rappelling (like BC Cadet Joan Wood is doing in this photo).
