State Next - New School Records
The 2025 Benedictine Track & Field team competed at the GHSA AAAA Track & Field Sectionals A held on Saturday, May 3rd at Steele Road Stadium! The CADETS are advancing 11 student-athletes to compete at East Jackson High School (1435 Hoods Mill Rd., Commerce, GA 30529) for the 2025 GHSA AAAA Track & Field State Championships to be held this Friday – Saturday, May 9th – 10th. We will have representation in 8 events and broke 4 new school records! Meyer Hagin finished 2nd (157–7 PR/SR) in the Discus. Max Carson placed 4th (45–2.50) in the Shotput. Cole Minnich placed 4th (4:26.80 PR) in the 1600m and 7th (9:44.62 PR/SR) in the 3200m. Chris “Bubba” Frazier, Jr., Stanley Smart, Jr., and Eron Mallard placed 1st (10.54 PR/SR), 3rd (10.63 PR) and 6th (10.77) respectfully in the 100m. The BC 4x200m Relay Team of Cole Henderson, Stanley Smart, Jr., Stephen Cannon II, and Chris “Bubba” Frazier Jr. finished 1st (1:26.91 PR/SR). The BC 4x100m Relay Team of Eron Mallard, Stanley Smart, Jr., Stephen Cannon II and Chris “Bubba” Frazier, Jr. finished 2nd (41.78) overall. Chris “Bubba” Frazier, Jr., Stanley Smart, Jr., and Cole Henderson placed 1st (21.78), 3rd (22.13) and 8th (22.26 PR) respectfully in the 200m. Congratulations to our team for another wonderful performance! The CADETS will travel this week to compete at the 2025 GHSA AAAA Track & Field State Championships to be held this Friday – Saturday, May 9th – 10th at East Jackson High School (1435 Hoods Mill Rd., Commerce, GA 30529)!
