CADETS Dominate the Competition

Congratulations to our Benedictine Cadets Track & Field team who finished #1 at the SCD Meet #3 with a total of 189 points scored (91 more points than the next opponent)! Na’Seir Samuel finished 1^st in the 100m (10.68 PR) and 1^st in the 200m (22.50 PR). Za’Quan Bryan jumped to a first-place finish in the Triple Jump (40-04 PR) and finished 2^nd in the 100m (10.95 PR). Evan Scarbrough won the Discus with his best throw of the season (134-03) and Talan Waddell finished 3^rd in the Discus (108-11 PR). John Dodson was 1^st in the 3200m (10:21.95) and in the 1600m (4:52.37). Jakobe Gadsden won the Long Jump (19-06) while Zachary Maxwell finished 4^th (18-00). Antonio Hansen-Mann finished 4^th in the Triple Jump (38-03 PR). Cole Semien finished 4^th (42-2.75 PR) in the Shotput with the best throw of his career. Thomas Blackshear tied for first (6-00 PR) in the High Jump while LaDon Bryant finished 3^rd (5-10 PR). Blackshear also finished 5^th in the 100m (11.24 PR). RaSean Matthews finished 4^th in the 400m (54.88). John Dodson and Cooper Chu finished 2^nd (2:11.71) and 4^th (2:25.27 PR) in the 800m. Chapman Schivera, Amari Addison, and Austin Wiggins finished 1^st (16.42 PR), 4^th  (19.46) and 5^th (19.83) respectively in the 100mH. Schivera also finished 1^st (42.81) in the 300mH. The 4x100m Relay A team of Houston Jackson, Za’Quan Bryan, Thomas Blackshear and Na’Seir Samuel finished 1^st (43.65) and the B Team of Zachary Maxwell, Jakobe Gadsden, DaBerry Greene and Bo Tallevast finished 4^th (46.71). The 4x200m A Relay team of RaSean Matthews, Keiran Glover, Houston Jackson and Bo Tallevast finished 1^st (1:34.49) and the B team of Jakobe Gadsden, Kaden Johnson, DaBerry Greene and Zachary Maxwell finished 3^rd (1:39.63). The 4x400m Relay team of RaSean Matthews, Chapman Schivera, Na’Seir Samuel and Za’Quan Bryan finished 1^st (3:45.83) overall.
