• CADETS place 3rd at the SCD Meet #6, Aim to Rest & Get Healthy for Regions

  The CADETS placed 3^rd overall in the team standings at the SCD Meet #6. Stanley Smart, Jr., Chris “Bubba” Frazier, Jr. and Stephen Cannon III placed 1^st (10.90), 3^rd  (10.93) and 7^th (11.48) in the 100m. Cole Minnich and Will Hoffman placed 1^st (10:31.87 PR) and 3^rd (11:49.14 PR) in the 3200m. Na’Seir Samuel and Michael Hogan finished 4^th (52.43) and 5^th (52.52) in the 400m. Cole Minnich and Will Hoffman finished 7^th (2:12.61 PR) and 8^th  (2:14.84 PR) in the 800m. Stephen Cannon III finished 4^th (42.62 PR) in the 300mH. Henry Sink and LaDon Bryant III placed 3^rd (6-2) and 6^th (5-8) in the High Jump. Max Carson placed 4^th (41-6) in the Shotput. Ian Harris leaped to 7^th place (38-2 PR) in the Triple Jump. Talan Waddell, Herbert “Third” Scroggins III and Meyer Hagin threw for 4^th (133-9 PR), 6^th (115-0) and 8^th (113-5 PR) place standings in the Discus event. The BC 4x100m Relay Team of Jack Ganem, Stanley Smart, Jr., Stephen Cannon III , and Chris “Bubba” Frazier Jr., finished 1^st (42.09 SB). The BC 4x400m Relay Team of Na’Seir Samuel, Michael Hogan, Ca’ron Hall and Sammy “Tre” Childs III finished 5^th (3:48.95). Other noteworthy performances: Jack Ganem placed 9^th (23.46 PR) in the 200m. Eron Mallard finished 9^th (5-6 PR) in the High Jump. Michael Sweeney III placed 9^th (2:15.23 SB) in the 800m. The CADETS rested multiple athletes and still competed at a very high level! Congratulations to our team for a gritty performance! The CADETS next meet is the Region 3-AAAA Track & Field Championships scheduled for next Monday, April 22^nd and Wednesday, March 24^th at Burke County High School (1057 Burke Veterans Parkway, Waynesboro, GA 30830)!

  The SCD Meet #4 held at Savannah Country Day School was cancelled due to inclement weather.

• The Cadets DOMINATE the SCD Meet #5, Score 246.50 and Finish 1st Overall

  The CADETS dominated the SCD Meet #5 by scoring 246.50 points and finishing 1^st overall in the team standings. Stanley Smart, Jr., Chris “Bubba” Frazier, Jr., and Marque Williams Jr. placed 1^st (10.75 PR), 2^nd (10.93) and 5^th (11.59) in the 100m. John Dodson placed 1^st in the 3200m (10:36.14). Cole Minnich and Will Hoffman placed 2^nd (4:51.58 PR) and 5^th (5:21.91) in the 1600m. Stephen Cannon III, James Wise, and Ryan Brunson finished 2^nd (18.23 PR), 3^rd (18.51 PR) and 5^th (20.03) respectively in the 110mH. Michael Hogan and Isaiah Jones finished 1^st (53.61) and 2^nd (55.73) in the 400m. John Dodson, Michael Sweeney III, and Chris Bulter Jr. finished 2^nd (2:05.46 PR), 5^th  (2:19.33) and 7^th (2:25.06 PR) respectively in the 800m. Chris “Bubba” Frazier, Jr., Stanley Smart, Jr., and Jack Ganem placed 1^st (22.35), 2^nd (22.44 PR) and 4^th (23.78 PR) in the 200m. Stephen Cannon III, James Wise, and Ryan Brunson finished 2^nd (42.88 PR), 3^rd (42.89 PR) and 5^th (48.83) respectively in the 300mH. Henry Sink, LaDon Bryant III, and Ca’ron Hall placed 1^st (6-0), 3^rd (5-6) and 4^th (5-2) in the High Jump. Jeremiah “Tank” Thomas and Max Carson tied for 3^rd (42-10) in the Shotput. Ian Harris and Eron Mallard leaped to 1^st (38-2 PR) and 2^nd (37-8) place in the Triple Jump. Herbert “Third” Scroggins III, Talan Waddell, and Meyer Hagin threw for 2^nd (127-0), 3^rd (124-10 PR) and 4^th (111-11 PR) place standings in the Discus event. Eron Mallard, James Wise, and Joseph “Jojo” Sutton III placed 2^nd (19-8), 5^th (18-7) and 7^th (17-6) in the Long Jump. The BC 4x800m Relay Team of John Dodson, Cole Minnich, William Hoffman, and Michael Sweeney III finished 1^st (8:56.61 SB). The BC 4x100m Relay Team of Jack Ganem, Stanley Smart, Jr., Stephen Cannon III , and Chris “Bubba” Frazier Jr., finished 1^st (42.65 SB). The BC 4x400m Relay Team of Ryan Brunson, Michael Hogan, Na’Seir Samuel, and Sammy “Tre” Childs III finished 1^st (3:49.08). Congratulations to our team for a wonderful performance! • CADETS Finished 5th @ The Game Changers Apex Invite

  The CADETS finished 5^th overall in the team standings at the Game Changers Apex Invite at Richmond Hill High School. John Dodson led the CADETS by winning the 3200m (9:51.43). Stanley Smart Jr. finished 3^rd in the 100m (11.09 PR) and in the 200m (22.65 PR). Senior Henry Sink returned to competition with a 3^rd place finish in the High Jump event (6-0). Herbert “Third” Scroggins III and Talan Waddell threw for 4^th (137-6 PR) and 6^th (131-7 PR) place standings in the Discus event. Max Carson threw to a 6^th place (40-7.50) finish in the Shotput. Eron Mallard and Joseph “JoJo” Sutton III leaped to 6^th (19-9.25 PR) and 8^th (19- 1.75 PR) place standings respectively in the Long Jump. Abdul Olubajo ran to a 6^th place (9:13.55) finish in the 2000m Steeplechase. The BC 4x100m Relay Team of Chris “Bubba” Frazier Jr., Stanley Smart, Jr., Marque Williams, Jr., and Na’Seir Samuel finished 2^nd (42.86 SB). The BC 4x200m Relay Team of Jack Ganem, Stephen Cannon III, Joseph “JoJo” Sutton III and Marque Williams, Jr., finished 4^th (1:34.96 SB). The BC 4x800m Relay Team of John Dodson, Chris Butler Jr., William Hoffman, and Michael Sweeney III finished 4^th (9:04.32 SB). Other performances worthy of recognition: Isaiah Jones finished 11^th (18-10 PR) in the Long Jump.  Eron Mallard leaped to an 11^th place (38-2 PR) finish in the Triple Jump. • CADETS Continue to Improve, Placed 2nd Overall at SCD Meet #3

  The CADETS finished 2^nd overall in the team standings at the SCD Meet #3. Chris “Bubba” Frazier, Jr. and John Dodson were standouts on the day! Chris “Bubba Frazier, Jr. established himself as a premiere sprinter in the state of Georgia by running blazing times in the 100m (10.69 PR) and in the 200m (21.76 PR) finishing 1^st in each event.  John Dodson continued his streak of breaking personal records in meets the year with a 1^st place finish and personal best in the 1600m (4:36.43 PR). Senior, James Wise finished 2^nd in the 300mH (44.04 PR) and 7^th in the 110mH (19.29). Max Carson, Jeremiah “Tank” Thomas and Kameron Cody threw for 2^nd (43-5.50 PR), 6^th (41-0.75 ) and 7^th (39-11 PR) place standings in the Shotput event.  Eron Mallard leaped to a 4^th place finish (19-10 PR) in the Long Jump and 8^th place finish (37-5.50 PR) in the Triple Jump. Talan Waddell, Mayer Hagin and Herbert “Third” Scroggins III threw for 4^th (123-6), 6^th (108-9 PR) and 7^th (105-0) place standings in the Discus event. Michael Hogan finished 6^th (54.67 PR) in the 400m. Eron Mallard finished 7^th in the 200m (23.61 PR). Isaiah Jones finished 8^th (11.59 PR) in the 100m. The BC 4x800m Relay Team of John Dodson, Abdul Olubajo, William Hoffman, and Michael Sweeney III finished 1^st (9:06.03 SB). The BC 4x100m Relay Team of Chris “Bubba” Frazier Jr., Stanley Smart, Jr., Marque Williams, Jr., and Isaiah Jones finished 2^nd (42.88 SB). The BC 4x400m Relay Team of Alden Swift, Michael Hogan, Na’Seir Samuel, and Sammy “Tre” Childs III finished 4^th (3:44.85 SB). Other performances worthy of recognition: Marque Williams Jr. placed 9^th (55.59 PR) in the 400m. Jack Ganem finished 10^th (23.96 PR) in the 200m.  Ian Harris leaped to 11^th place (36-7 PR) finish in the Triple Jump. Will Hoffman and Chris Butler, Jr. placed 12^th (2:23.58 PR) and 14^th (2:26.11 PR) respectively in the 800m. Congratulations to our team for an amazing performance! The CADETS next meet is TBD. The Ware County HS Meet #3 scheduled for next Thursday, March 14^th at Ware County High School has been cancelled!

• Young CADETS Compete at RH, Finished 9th Overall

  The CADETS competed and finished 9^th overall in the team standings at the Game Changers Alley Invite. John Dodson shined bright again with a 1^st place finish in the 3200m! John also broke his own school record in the event (9:48.77 PR)! Stanley Smart, Jr. was another stand out on the night winning each of his heats in the 100m and the 200m! Stanley placed 6^th overall in the 100m (11.10 PR) and 5^th overall in the 200m (22.83 PR). Talan Waddell threw for a personal best and placed 6^th   (128-5 PR) in the Discus. Max Carson finished 5^th in the Shotput (39-9). The BC 4x100m Relay Team of Jack Ganem, Stanley Smart, Jr., Marque Williams, Jr., and Isaiah Jones finished 6^th (44.15). The BC 4x800m Relay Team of John Dodson, Abdul Olubajo, Will Hoffman, and Michael Sweeney finished 6^th (9:24.77 SB).  The BC 4x400m Relay Team of Jack Ganem, Stanley Smart, Jr., Sammy “Tre” Childs III, and Michael Hogan finished 8^th (3:45.36 SB). Other performances worthy of recognition: Max Carson placed 9^th (41-2.75 PR) throwing his personal best in the Shotput. Abdul Olubajo and Hayden Hoffman placing 10^th (8:49.24 PR) and 15^th (10:19.66 PR) respectively in the 2000m Steeplechase. Marque Williams Jr. placed 12^th (11.44 PR) in the 100m running his personal best. Meyer Hagin placed 14^th (104-9 PR) throwing his personal best in the Discus. Ian Harris leaped to a personal best placing 15^th (36-4.25 PR) in the Triple Jump. James Wise and Ryan Brunson finished 14^th (18.85 PR) and 15^th (19.49 PR) in the 100mH. Joseph “Jojo” Sutton III and Isaiah Jones finished 15^th (18-10 PR) and 19^th (18-2.75) in the Long Jump. Congratulations to our team for another great performance!   The CADETS finished 1^st overall in the team standings at the SCD Meet #2. John Dodson improved on his Benedictine school record in the 3200m (10:03.12 PR). Jeremiah Thomas threw his personal best and earned 2^nd place in the Shotput (45-09 PR). Cooper Chu finished 2^nd (2:19.36) in the 800m. Chris “Bubba” Frazier, Jr., RaSean Matthews, and Na’Seir Samuel finished 2^nd (22.51 PR), 3^rd (23.21), and 4^th (23.22) respectfully in the 200m. Chapman Schivera, Austin Wiggins, and Stephen Cannon finished 1^st (16.21), 4^th (19.65), and 7^th (20.93) in the 110mH. Na’Seir Samuel finished 2^nd (11.14) in the 100m. Chapman Schivera, Austin Wiggins, and Ryan Brunson finished 2^nd (42.95), 4^th (47.35 PR), and 7^th (50.51) in the 300mH. Henry Sink and LaDon Bryant made their season debut and finished 2^nd (5-8) and 8^th (5-6) in the High Jump. Henry Sink and Ian Harris finished 2^nd (39-5) and 7^th (34-6) in the Triple Jump. Henry Sink placed 4^th overall in the Long Jump (18-10). Talan Waddell, Herbert Scroggins III “Third”, and Cole Semien finished 4^th (121-5 PR), 6^th (103-1) and 7^th (97-8) in the Discus. Bo Tallevast and James Wise finished 4^th (54.93) and 7^th (55.65) in the 400m. Michael Sweeney finished 6^th in the 1600m (5:23.46). Tanner Lanier finished 8^th (12:05.47) in the 3200m. The BC 4x100m Relay Team of Chris Frazier Jr., RaSean Matthews, Bryce Baker & Na’Seir Samuel finished 1^st (43.82). The BC 4x200m Relay Team of Chris Frazier Jr., RaSean Matthews, Bryce Baker & Na’Seir Samuel finished 1^st (1:32.05). The BC 4x800m Relay Team of John Dodson, James Moore, James Sweeney & Cooper Chu finished 2^nd (9:16.03). Congratulations to our team for an awesome performance!
