  • Cadets Win 2025 GIAA State Championship in Sport Shooting

Congratulations to Benedictine Military School’s sport shooting team, which won the Georgia Independent Athletic Association (GIAA) State Championship at Forest City Gun Club today! After three days of intense competition across the disciplines of sporting clays, skeet, and trap, the Cadets emerged as the state champions. BC finished 53 targets ahead of second-place Savannah Christian and 103 targets ahead of third-place Savannah Country Day, showcasing depth and precision across the board. High Overall (HOA) honors for the tournament went to BC’s Mills Hollis, who posted an outstanding score of 286. This is the fourth state championship under BC Sport Shooting Head Coach Mr. Howard J. Morrison III, achieved in just his sixth year of coaching — a testament to the team’s dedication, discipline, and leadership. Congratulations to the Cadets, their coaches, and supporters on another remarkable season
