The 2025 high school golf season was a standout year for the BC golf team, culminating in a strong showing at the GHSA state tournament.
Benedictine Military School's sophomore standout Bear Dollander captured the Class 4A State individual title, showcasing elite talent and composure beyond his years. His performance helped lead the Cadets to a third-place team finish at state, capping off a stellar season.
The Benedictine team collected hardware throughout the year, taking top honors at the Cadet Cup and the Grainger Classic. They also finished as runners-up at the Low Country Invitational and the Johnny Paulk Classic, further cementing their reputation as one of the state’s premier programs.
In recognition of his leadership and the Cadets’ impressive campaign, BC’s Kevin Halligan was named the All-Greater Savannah Boys' Golf Coach of the Year. "We played a lot of solid golf in the state tournament and put some pressure on the leaders," Halligan said. "We came up a bit short as a team, but it was great to see Bear win the individual title. It was a good season for us, and we'll be back next year."
