  • Rivers and Glenn Shoot

    Benedictine Military School’s sport shooting team competed in the Rivers and Glen two-day qualifier last weekend and the results were impressive. This tournament was divided up into two classifications: freshmen and sophomores were considered junior-varsity for this event, while juniors and seniors were listed as varsity.
    The Varsity squad swept the event, taking second in all four events. The JV squad also swept the event, taking first in all four events.

  • BC Cadets Shooting Team Starts the Season Strong

    The second qualifier on September 14, 2024, with more competition was closer. The Cadets still finished strong, placing first again with the top five Cadets being; juniors Mills Hollis 193/200, Gavin Walmsley 181/200, Jack McKenzie 178/200, sophomore Chaz Palmer 176/200, and senior Drake Cooper 174/200. In this tournament the BC top 5 were closely followed by junior Jim Reynolds Morrison, and sophomore Lucas McKenzie, both of whom shot a 172/200. Rounding out the Cadet's top ten were junior Alex Ray 171/200, sophomore Grady McKenzie 171/200 and freshman Jimmy Adams 170/200. Only one target behind, sophomore Harrison Tate 169/200, finished as the eleventh man for the Cadets

  • BC two-for-two in GIAA sport shooting qualifiers

    Congratulations to Benedictine Military School's sport shooting team for its outstanding performances at the GIAA qualifiers for the state tournament Oct. 30-Nov. 2 at Forest City Gun Club. At the first shoot, BC won by 42 targets over second place finisher SCPS. Mills Hollis was HOA for skeet and Lucas McKenzie was HOA for trap. At the second qualifier, BC again finished strong placing first with the top five Cadets being; juniors Mills Hollis 193/200, Gavin Walmsley 181/200, Jack McKenzie 178/200, sophomore Chaz Palmer 176/200, and senior Drake Cooper 174/200.
